NIPSC CONVERTED INTO STATE UNIVERSITY

THE NORTHERN Iloilo Polytechnic State College has been conferred state university status by the Commission on Higher Education.
The NIPSC said that it took nine years for the school to be converted into a state university.
CHED finished the remote validation of NIPSC on February 10 and awarded the status on Tuesday.
Republic Act 10597 which was recently signed into law renamed the college to Northern Iloilo State University.
“From this day forward, NIPSC shall become a sweet memory. NIPSC is finally NISU!’ the university said.
