NEW FIRING RANGE BUILT FOR NWSSU CRIMINOLOGY STUDENTS
THE NORTHWEST Samar State University is building a firing range to help train criminology students improve handling firearms.
NWSSU Infrastructure Project Management Committee said 95.16 percent of the infrastructure has already been built after 60 days of construction that started last June 28.
The facility has a total allotted contract time of 150 calendar days to finish the project.
The firing range is located at Lot 7, Main campus in Calbayog City, and is set to be completed by November 25, and is set to be operational immediately.
The project has a total budget of P919,188 sourced from the STF-Earmarked Income of the university.
The available jobs after finishing criminology courses typically include being a policeman, correctional officer, and crime scene technician, which typically involves firearms.
