NEGROS ORIENTAL STATE U WAIVES FINAL EXAM
THE NEGROS Oriental State University waived the final examination for the first semester of Academic Year 2021-2022 because of the devastation wrought by Typhoon Odette.
University President Joel Limson approved the proposal to waive the exam on January 3.
Student Government of Dumaguete Campuses President Lester Janito said that requirements and projects will have to be submitted instead.
Students have until February 28 to submit such requirements.
Janito said that Limson will advise the college deans and issue an advisory for additional instructions regarding the matter.
The SGDC earlier submitted a letter to Limson asking that the final examination be waived and give students until the end of January 2022 to complete all necessary requirements. It also asked that instructors be given extension to submit grades.
