MSU-NAAWAN BREAKS GROUND FOR FISHERIES COMPLEX BLDG
THE MINDANAO State University-Naawan broke ground for its new fisheries complex building.
The three-story building aims to showcase the flagship program of the campus, being the Center of Excellence in Fisheries.
The new building will be used by the School of Marine Fisheries and Technology.
It will house e-classrooms and e-laboratories “as part of the proposed ICT Modernization Project,” MSU-Naawan said on Facebook.
“The adjacent buildings will be converted to Smart Hatchery and Laboratory, with the Smart Ponds on the other side. The construction of Smart Ponds, or the State-of-the-Art Pond for Sea Cucumber funded by DOST has started,” it added.
Sen. Edgardo ‘Sonny’ Angara contributed P15 million for the project.
