MSU-IIT SECURES SPOT IN 2025 THE WORLD RANKINGS FOR PHYSICAL SCIENCES
THE MINDANAO State University-Iligan Institute of Technology has been recognized among the world’s top universities in the field of Physical Sciences, according to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025.
MSU-IIT’s Physical Sciences program placed in the 801-1000 bracket.
Chancellor Alizedney Ditucalan expressed his gratitude to the faculty and students, acknowledging their commitment to advancing education and research.
“We owe this success to our exceptional faculty and students, who tirelessly contribute to the development of new knowledge,” Ditucalan stated.
This achievement further solidifies MSU-IIT’s reputation as a leading institution for Physical Sciences in the Philippines, covering disciplines such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, geology, environmental science, and marine sciences.
In 2024, MSU-IIT made its debut in the overall THE World Rankings, placing third among Philippine universities.
THE World University Rankings evaluates 1,447 institutions globally based on teaching quality, research environment, research quality, international outlook, and industry impact.
