MSU-GENSAN UNDERGOES EVALUATION FOR DOCTOR OF MEDICINE PROGRAM
OFFICIALS of the Commission on Higher Education conducted a virtual evaluation and inspection of the Mindanao State University- General Santos City campus to gauge its capabilities to offer a doctor of medicine program.
The university on Tuesday said that officials from the CHED’s Technical Panel for Medicine Visiting Team reviewed its application via Zoom.
It added that the panel interviewed MSU officials to validate data and determine the readiness of the university to offer the program.
“The areas that were evaluated were Governance and Organizational Structure, Curriculum, Students and Faculty, Library and Facilities, Base Hospital and Community Affiliation, Board Performance, External Accreditation and, Research,” MSU said on Facebook.
“Afterward, a Virtual Tour was conducted showcasing the facilities, buildings, laboratories, and pieces of equipment of the College,” it added.
MSU was given until September 23, 2021 to comply with the recommendations of the panel.
