MSC said several individuals are posing to be a member of the institution to ask for monetary donations.

“The public is advised that MSC has not authorized anyone or any group to conduct such activity. All donations intended for (MSC) are duly documented and coursed through official channels,” MSC said in a public advisory.

The college also advised the public to be wary of such cases and advised the public to coordinate with the university.

“We, therefore, advise the public to be alert of any malicious transactions, especially with the fraudster and scammers,” it added.
