MSC, SLSU MEET FOR PROPOSED CONSORTIUM AGREEMENT

OFFICIALS from Marinduque State College and the Southern Luzon State University held a meeting for a possible consortium agreement, as the former is pinning for universityhood.

According to the University of Kansas, a consortium agreement between universities is a contract that enables students to take coursework from two universities at the same time.

MSC President Dr. Diosdado Zulueta said that this agreement will help bolster the university’s bid to become a university.

His counterpart, SLSU President Dr. Nilo Dator also committed to the agreement and assured their support to MSC’s venture.

The two parties met at the MSC Office of the President Conference Room on Friday, where they drafted the plans and activities for the partnership.

MSC has been aiming for universityhood since 2018 and has been doing the work toward this goal.
