MSC LAUNCHES FARMERS INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY SERVICES CENTER
THE MARINDUQUE State College’s School of Agriculture launched a service center to boost the production of farmers.
The Farmers’ Information and Technology Services Center aims to serve the needs of farmers and conduct training on edible gardening.
“Farmers can now also avail of free technical assistance from the FITS Center through training, information services, and access to educational materials,” MSC said on Facebook.
“The aim is to help farmers boost their productivity by enhancing their knowledge and capacities using sustainable up-to-date technologies while promoting outputs of MSC’s Research and Development in the areas of agriculture,” it added.
MSC also held a 2-day seminar about Vegetable Growing System, Organic Inputs, Vermicomposting, and Pest Management.
FITS is open for students and entrepreneurs in the province who venture in the field of edible gardening.
