MMSU TEAM WINS BIG IN INT’L RESEARCH CONFERENCE
THE DEPARTMENT of Physical Therapy of the Mariano Marcos State University won awards in the Seirei International Research Conference conducted online by the Seirei Christopher University in Japan.
THE DEPARTMENT of Physical Therapy of the Mariano Marcos State University won awards in the Seirei International Research Conference conducted online by the Seirei Christopher University in Japan.
The event showcased 19 posters and 28 papers.
Instructors Richard Callo and Lordman Gregor Aldoz bagged the best poster presentation award for their entry titled “Effectiveness of Health using Internet- and mobile-based applications in improving physical activity and endurance of adolescents and young adults.”
Meanwhile, the team of Joechebed Andres and Jaira Mae Pastor won the best student poster presentation awards.
Andres’ group presented a poster on “Presence of post COVID-19 symptoms among COVID-19 survivors of Ilocos Norte,” while Pastor’s team “showcased a poster on the “Prevalence and factors associated with work-related musculoskeletal disorders among university instructors.”
The SIRC featured clinical research studies of SCU and its partner-institutions worldwide. It served as an avenue in promoting future research collaborations.
