MMSU STUDENTS COMPLETE INTERNATIONAL STUDY TOUR IN THAILAND
EIGHT students from Mariano Marcos State University broadened their global perspective after completing a weeklong immersion program in Thailand focused on innovation, technology, and international business practices.
The February 3 to 9 study tour was facilitated by the Center for Experiential Learning of the Asian Institute of Technology, which delivered interactive workshops and applied learning sessions for the participants.
The delegation included four Tourism Management students—Maybel Agbunag, Andrea Stephanie Ricardo, Kathlyn Gayle Tagavilla, and El Jabez Vea—and four Hospitality Management students—Aquila Grace Ubiña, Kathleen Kate De Leon, Clark Ramos, and Denmark Abalos.
Throughout the program, the students engaged with companies and institutions driven by technology and innovation, exposing them to strategies that enable organizations to adapt in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
One participant described the immersion as a transformative experience that enhanced his understanding of international communication and business while fostering respect for diverse cultures and viewpoints.
Lectures and activities covered Thai language and culture, cross-cultural communication, artificial intelligence applications, leadership and management, digital consumer behavior, business data analytics, and financial technology.
