MMSU PARTNERS WITH HESP

THE MARIANO Marcos State University and the Healthcare Executives Society of the Philippines signed a memorandum of agreement on the offering of master in healthcare management.

The program will focus on developing capabilities of healthcare professionals.

It will be offered by the MMSU Graduate School and the College of Medicine in the first semester of Academic Year 2023-2024.

“We foresee this dynamic partnership to flourish and become stronger as we are one with MMSU in its vision, mission, and 7-point agenda,” HESP President De Ungria said.

MMSU President Shirley Agrupis thanked HESP for the implementation of the master’s program.

Agrupis said that the initiative is the university’s way of contributing to the enhancement of the Philippine healthcare system and addressing the demands of the healthcare sector.

Under the agreement, MMSU will secure the necessary regulatory requirements for the offering of the program.

HESP will develop the curriculum, course materials and syllabus and provide qualified faculty to teach the program.

The MHCM program has 12 subjects, totaling 36 units.

Applicants must be holders of any bachelor’s degree relevant to the course.

An applicant whose degree is not in line with the program may still be admitted but is required to take bridging or prerequisite courses, it added.

Applicants must submit application forms, original transcript of records and transfer credentials, authenticated birth certificate and medical certificate to the Graduate School.

They must have a GWA of 2.5 or higher and must pass the interview with the program chair.
