MMSU LAUNCHES COLLEGE OF COMPUTING & INFORMATION SCIENCES
THE MARIANO Marcos State University launched its College of Computing and Information Sciences this month.
MMSU said the establishment of CCIS is in line with its commitment to digital transformation and futures thinking.
“The predecessor department, originally under the MMSU College of Arts and Sciences, obtained its status as CHED Center of Development in Information Technology in 2016,” it said.
It added that the creation of CCIS was approved by the MMSU Board of Regents during its 147th regular meeting on March 29, 2023 at the Commission on Higher Education Central Office in Quezon City.
The college will be composed of the computer science and information technology departments.
It will be situated in MMSU Batac campus and will be operational in the first semester of Academic Year 2023-2024.
Dr. Saturnina F. Nisperos was designated as the OIC-dean of CCIS.
