MISAMIS UNIVERSITY STARTS IN-PERSON CLASSES
THE MISAMIS University-College of Medical Technology started conducting limited face-to-face classes for its fourth year students.
Earlier, the Commission on Higher Education Region X visited the University’ Medical Technology Department and granted it a certificate for the conduct of in-person classes.
CHED officials inspected the school together with members of the local government unit and the City Health Office.
MU said that its laboratory rooms were retrofitted and health standards were imposed in accordance with the guidelines issued by CHED on the gradual re-opening of classes.
“The limited face-to-face laboratory classes enable students to apply their knowledge and skills in a hospital laboratory setting,” the University said.
“In addition,students will also have their Molecular Biology laboratory activities as soon as we are done with the set-up of our MolBio Lab,” it added.
