THE MINDANAO State University-General Santos was named one of the top academic institutions in the Asia Pacific region.

The university received the “Asia’s Outstanding Academic Institution” on August 17 at Pan Pacific, Singapore.

MSU-GS was recognized for its excellence as an academic institution after satisfactorily meeting the criteria set by CMO Asia.

The criteria benchmarked were educational achievement, placements, leadership, class infrastructure, student impact and future orientation.

Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Mishell Lawas received the award on the behalf of the administration.
