/ 22 May 2021

THE MINDANAO State University in General Santos City will soon have a new laboratory and library.

On Thursday, the school held a groundbreaking ceremony for the facilities that will be part of its College of Medicine.

The laboratory and the library have a funding of P20 million and P17 million, respectively.

MSU said that the funding was secured through the help of South Cotabato 1st District Representative Hon. Shirlyn L. Bañas-Nograles.

The university said the construction of the facilities is important because MSU’s College of Medicine is the first of its kind in Region 12.

School officials and representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways attended the ceremony.
