THE MARIANO Marcos State University signed a partnership agreement with De La Salle University Center for Engineering and Sustainable Development Research for the conduct of several activities.

MMSU welcomed representatives from DLS-CESDR for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding over the weekend.

“I see a clear path of collaboration and a bright future within this partnership as both our university are highly engaged in advancing sustainable development,” said MMSU President Shirley Agrupis.

“I hope that this MOU will bring DLSU and MMSU together in helping not only Ilocos Norte, not only to the country, but hopefully to share our knowledge and experience to the whole world,” added DLSU-CESDR Director Alvin Culaba.

Through the five-year partnership, the two universities will co-develop academic and educational activities, including exchange of faculty, researchers, studentsand conduct of lectures and symposia.

It will all undertake capacity-building programs and exchange of academic information materials.

DLSU associate professor Dr. Andres Mayol, DLS-CESDR research assistant Engr. Darius Diamante, Balik-Scientist Dr. Sergio Capareda, and other MMSU constituents witnessed the MOU.
