MARIANO MARCOS STATE U RECEIVES READING MATERIALS FROM PDEA

/ 7 May 2021

THE MARIANO Marcos State University received reading materials from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Ilocos Norte under its anti-drug advocacy campaign.

The reading materials were distributed by the University Student Council officers to the students.

“As one of the partners of PDEA-Ilocos Norte, MMSU has been implementing an advocacy campaign,” the university said.

Dr. Geraldeen Pascual, student welfare chief, said the series of activities prove the university’s commitment to increase the knowledge of the youth on drug prevention.

In February and March, the office of Student Affairs and Services spearheaded a short film-making contest on drug abuse prevention with the theme, “Better Knowledge, Better Care.”

Pascual said the winners will be announced during the second phase of its drug advocacy program on May 15.
