THE MARIANO Marcos State University secured a 100 percent passing rate in the 2020 Physician Licensure Examination.

All seven of the school’s examinees passed the exam, earning them the title “Magic 7.”

The new doctors are Allysa Mae B. Agustin, Everlyn Joy B. Caluya, Miguel Patrick I. Cerezo, Knedrick Kevin C. Macalma, Jun Carlos R. Mariquin, Gene Paolo Janzi C. Sapla, and Niki Angeli I. Tabaniag.

The tests were conducted on November 10 to 11 and 15 to 16 in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Dr. Ricardo S. Guanzon, dean of the MMSU’s College of Medicine, lauded the seven, the pioneering class of the college.

He said that the school plans to increase the number of medical students it will admit for the next school year, in response to the medical needs of the country.
