MARIANO MARCOS STATE U BOOSTS VACCINATION CAMPAIGN IN ILOCOS
THE MARIANO Marcos State University deployed its health frontliners to boost the vaccination campaign of the provincial government of Ilocos Norte against Covid19.
Faculty members and students of the College of Medicine and College of Health Sciences-Department of Nursing also volunteered to help in vaccination sites.
Prof. Ryan Dean T. Sucgang, OIC-dean of CHS, said the MMSU team started assisting in the vaccination rollout held at the San Nicolas Amphitheater.
He said that the MMSU volunteers assist in the screening, inoculation, and post-monitoring of those who were given the vaccines.
“The province needs help, cases are rising, and there is a dearth of health personnel in our locality. We hope to help save lives and make every Ilokano protected against the virus,” Sucgang said.
He added that the university’s Resbakuna team is well-managed, making it capable of carrying out its campus inoculation rollout while helping the provincial government at the same time.
