MAPUA University in Manila was granted a 4-star rating this year for achieving high scores in eight performance metrics.

The Quacquarelli Symonds Stars Rating System evaluates higher education institutions on a range of performance metrics across several categories and pre-established international standards.

The university got 5-star marks in employability, facilities, and social responsibility.

It got 4-star rating for teaching and inclusiveness and for its computer science program.

Meanwhile, Mapua’s Internationalization and Academic Development merited a 3-star rating.

In 2017, Mapua attained an overall 3-star ranking.
