MAPUA STUDENT TOPS ELECTRONICS ENGINEER LICENSURE EXAM
A STUDENT from the Mapua University topped the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination with a rating of 91.10%.
Harold Andre Teodoro Puig led the 785 successful examinees. The Professional Regulation Commission said that 2,644 took the exams given this month.
John Albert Capule Bertuldo of the Bulacan State University and Mark Andrew Victor Montero Lim, also from Mapua University, were tied at second place with a score of 88.50%.
The PRC said the best performing school was the University of the Philippines Diliman, with 39 of its 44 takers passing for a success rate of 88.64%.
The PRC also announced the results of the October 2022 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.
Three graduates got the highest score of 90%. They are Cris Ramil Lequigan Calzita of the Eastern Visayas State University, Mark John Rayela Pena of the Pamantasan ng Cabuyao and Jude Nico Dela Cruz Zabala of the University of Santo Tomas.
The commission said 1,546 out of 2,005 examinees passed the exams.
The top performing schools with 50 or more examinees with at least 80% passing percentage are the Mapua University (93.85); UST (92.94); Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas (85.82); Saint Louis University in Baguio City (81.69) and Holy Angel University in Angeles, Pampanga (80).
