MAGLULUNSAD ng bagong scholarship program para sa mga Engineering student ang Mapua University, kasama ang China-based company na Huawei Technologies Philippines, Inc.

Ayon kay Mapua University President Dr. Reynaldo Vea, layon ng programa na mas mapaghusay pa ang kanilang mga mag-aaral sa Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, at Computer Engineering nang sa gayo’y kayanin ng bansa ang pakikipagsabayan sa mga inhinyero sa buong mundo.

Nagpapasalamat siya sa Huawei sapagkat sa tulong ng kompanya’y maisasakatuparan ang noo’y pangarap lamang na mapag-aral ang mas maraming Filipino lalo ngayong may pandemya.

“I would like to thank Huawei for the generous offer of scholarship for Mapúa students, especially at this time when most people may be suffering some hardships because of the current situation. Scholarships are important for the continuity of learning of Mapúa students,” wika ni Vea sa online launch ceremony.

Nais ng Huawei na agapayan ang Filipinas sa usapin ng teknolohiya kaya pinalalawig nito ang pagtulong sa mga mag-aaral, partikular sa mga unibersidad gaya ng Mapua na dedikado sa pagsulong ng larangan ng science, technology, engineering at mathematics.
