TO LESSEN flooding in Mendiola, the city government of Manila is reconstructing the sidewalk beside the San Beda University.

The construction started last June 25.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso praised those behind the project.

“Thank you, City Engr. Armand Andres at sa lahat ng bumubuo ng DEPW sa inyong walang sawang pagsasaayos ng ating mga sidewalk upang ito ay magamit ng tao ng maayos sa lahat ng oras! Keep it up!” Domagoso said.

San Beda Vice President for Administration Aeldred Nilo expressed his gratitude to the city government for granting their request.

“Thank you Yorme for the prompt action on our request to make a flood-free SBU pedestrian walkway,” Nilo said on Facebook.
