MADDELA COMPREHENSIVE HS LAUNCHES PROJECT TO ENHANCE READING SKILLS OF STUDENTS
THE MADDELA Comprehensive High School in Quirino province launched several projects to enhance the reading skills of students.
The programs are in support of the vision of the Department of Education and Bureau of Learning Delivery to improve learners’ reading performance as one of the priorities in the Learning Recovery Plan.
The MCHS held the National Reading Month that aims to promote love for reading and full awareness of the role of reading and literacy in cultivating critical thinking.
It also launched the Project DOSE or the Delivering Optimum knowledge for Grade 7 Students.
The school also introduced the Project SAGIP of the Filipino Department or Strategic Approach Geared towards Intellectual Progress.
“This activity serves as an avenue to highlight the importance of reading habit in reshaping today’s generation of learners,” school principal Dr. Jennifer Tolentino said.
