THE LYCEUM of the Philippines University-Manila and the LPU Alumni Association launched a charity drive to help students facing financial difficulties because of the pandemic.

Dubbed as ‘Support A Lycean’,  the campaign aims to help students whose families were affected by the Covid19 pandemic to “achieve their dreams’  and ‘to continue their education through remote learning through kind donations.”

“During these uncertain times, many Lyceans are faced with challenges, burdens, and difficulties in order to continue their education in LPU,” the school said on Facebook.

Lyceum said that “one good deed can help a Lycean continue his or her remote learning amidst this global pandemic.”

The university said that interested donors can view the university’s donation form posted on its website or contact  [email protected].

Meanwhile, the alumni association extended the filing of applications for its Educational Assistance Program for Senior High School, college, and graduate school ‪until October 23, 2020.
