LIPA CITY SCIENCE HIGH WINS IN MURATA ROBOTICS CHALLENGE
LIPA City Science Integrated National High School has won the inaugural Murata Robotics Challenge, competing against various science high schools across Region IV-A.
The members of the winning team are Reuven Mundala from Grade 10, Khaleb Noel Gevana from Grade 8, and Lindsay Gwyneth Campos, guided by their coach Sir Francis Darril Albo.
The team created SEABOT, a cutting-edge robot engineered to address environmental concerns by collecting microplastics from bodies of water, captivating both judges and spectators alike.
The event was in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology which served as both judge and consultant.
The competition showcased the ingenuity and talent of young minds in the field of robotics, DepEd Tayo Lipa City said in a post.
