LEYTE Normal University entered into a partnership agreement with Capilano University in Canada to boost its internationalization programs.

LNU President Dr. Evelyn Aguirre and CU Associate Vice-President for International Relations, Dr. Chris Bottrill, inked the Memorandum of Understanding during the Partnership Visit Conference last February 17.

Aguirre said that one of the goals of the university is to strengthen and expand its internationalization programs in order to attain global sustainability and comparability.

Dr. Bottrill, meanwhile, said that the foundation of partnership with CU is commonly shared values.

He added that four themes were considered for the partnership. These include community, experiential learning, the well-being of employees and students, and imagination, which he said he experienced when he visited LNU.
