LEYTE NORMAL U EMERGES CHAMPION IN SPECIAL CHED VIDEO COMPETITION
THE LEYTE Normal University bagged the top prize in the success story video contest of the Commission on Higher Education.
Arvin Jay G. Cordeta, a CHED Regional Scholarship recipient in the BS Social Work program, emerged champion behind his inspiring video on how his CHED scholarship in LNU helped direct him to a better life.
Cordeta is now a faculty member of the LNU Social Work Unit.
Meanwhile, Criscelle Lorraine Llemit placed fourth in the same competition. She is a CHED Full Merit Scholar in the BSED-English program who now works as teacher in the Department of Education.
LNU president Evelyn B. Aguirre proudly congratulates Cordeta and Llemit as she attended the online awarding ceremony together with other SUC presidents, private HEI administrators, and regional scholarship coordinators.
The contest was launched last June entitled ‘2021 Student Financial Assistance Program: My Success Story Video Contest’ in celebration of the first National Higher Education Day.
