LASALLIAN SOCIAL ENTERPRISE EDUCATION RECEIVES GLOBAL RECOGNITION
THE SOCIAL Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program with Service Learning of De La Salle University was recognized as Entrepreneurship Course of the Year at the 2025 Global Triple E Awards.
The program, developed by Dr. Norby Roque Salonga, Associate Professor at the RVR College of Business and Founding Director of the Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development Center, highlights an outcomes-based approach to education.
The award was presented on September 11, 2025, at Prague Castle in the Czech Republic during the Global Triple E Awards on Entrepreneurship and Engagement Excellence in Higher Education.
Dr. Salonga also spoke at the ACEEU Global Forum, which gathered international leaders and experts in higher education, entrepreneurship, and engagement.
The Triple E Awards is a global recognition program celebrating universities that drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and meaningful community engagement.
Organized by the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial & Engaged Universities (ACEEU), the awards highlight the third mission of universities: contributing to society beyond teaching and research.
