LAGUNA STATE POLYTECHNIC U UNVEILS NEW KITCHEN FACILITY FOR STUDENTS

LAGUNA State Polytechnic University has recently unveiled a new hot and cold kitchen facility for hospitality and tourism management students.

This was with the support of the Commission on Higher Education and was funded through the CHED-Institutional Development and Innovation Grant which will be used by students taking Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management.

LSPU President Mario Briones said that the facility would help students industry-ready once they graduate.

“This new grant provides an area where future professionals and leaders of the hospitality and tourism industry will hone their skills and talents,” he said.

“We commit to improving the learning experiences of our students to prepare them in their respective fields of expertise.”

Meanwhile, Department of Tourism Regional Director Marites Castro said that this is a welcome development to have a good facility for the practicum of hospitality and tourism students.
