KORONADAL SCHOOL HOLDS CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM
TO HELP students make informed decisions about their career paths, the Sergio L. Legayada National High School in Purok Mabuhay, Koronadal conducted a career guidance program for Grade 10 students.
The program themed “Gearing Up Towards A Better Tomorrow,” was facilitated by Junior High School Guidance Coordinator Kimberly Palang together with the Grade 10 teachers.
It covered areas such as identifying interests and skills, exploring different career options, and understanding the education and training requirements needed to pursue those careers.
“This is important because it can help them make more informed decisions about their future, leading to greater job satisfaction and success in their chosen careers. It can also help students feel more confident and prepared as they navigate the job market and pursue their career goals,” the school said.
School counselors, career advisors, mentors, and online resources provided the students information on job trends, career paths, and educational requirements, as well as advice on how to prepare for job interviews and networking opportunities.
They emphasized that career guidance for students is an important process that can help them make informed decisions about their future careers, and to start exploring and considering potential career paths.
