ISYU SA MRR, READMISSION SA UP LOS BAÑOS PINARERESOLBA

/ 28 July 2020

“The issue on MRR and Readmission cases needs to be resolved now. Students have suffered much already. Bureaucratic processes, inconsistencies, and unfavorable decisions have prolonged the agony of the affected students, leaving them either in limbo or at a dead end in fulfilling their dreams to finish their studies in the university. There have already been countless protests, appeals, and discussions with top administrators on this. But why is it that this remains a huge burden on the students? Other concerns including the inclusion of last semester’s grades in the overall GWA computation and the need for a thorough consultation with constituents for comprehensive plans for the upcoming academic year are left unanswered. We have long been lobbying for educational adjustments with genuine compassion, especially in a highly challenging time we are in right now, but it seems like our calls are yet to be fully realized and heard,” dagdag ni Punzalan.
