THE Department of the Interior and Local Government has recognized Isabela State University Cabagan Campus with the prestigious NextGen CapDev Accelerator Award in Local Governance.

ISU Cabagan was evaluated on criteria such as background, innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in its initiatives.

Each year, the DILG honors exceptional contributions to local governance through the Capacity Development Awards for Catalysts of Excellence.

This program, aligned with the Local Government Academy’s Partnership Framework, celebrates innovative programs and initiatives that empower local governments.

The NextGen CapDev Accelerator Award specifically highlights institutional partners that strengthen LGU capacity and accelerate excellence in local governance.

The award was presented during the Capacity Development Accelerator Awards earlier this month.

Dr. Jay P. Chy, ISU Vice President for Planning and Development, received the award on behalf of the university.
