MANILA Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso prohibited students from using the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Unibersidad de Manila building for political activities.

Domagoso warned students against joining rallies which were planned by “few individuals.”

He said that Filipinos should support the next administration.

“We have to move on with our lives and support the next government. We have to work together,” he said.

The mayor gave assurances that education institutions will provide quality education to students, saying it is their obligation to give good education.

“Educational institutions must provide good, quality education. ‘Yun ang aming obligasyon sa inyong mga anak at ‘yan ay tutupdin ng mga opisyales at teachers because that is our job,” Domagoso told parents of students.

The mayor earlier said that protesters should have permit before holding rallies.
