ISABELA STATE U TO OFFER EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAM
THE ISABELA State University will offer the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education program starting Academic Year 2022-2023.
This came after the Commission on Higher Education awarded ISU’s College of Education a certificate of program compliance to offer the new course.
ISU said that the new program is geared toward creating classroom environments to support early learning.
It added that the four-year program is based on fundamental facts about human development as children’s early life heavily affect their later years.
“The BECEd is a four-year program. Specifically, this program provides students with fundamental understanding and application of the principles of early childhood care and education,” ISU said.
Future careers of students who will enroll for the program include Day-Care teacher, Pre-School teacher, Kindergarten teacher, and Elementary School teacher and Special Education teacher.
