ISABELA STATE U PROVIDES BIKES FOR STUDENTS TO USE IN CAMPUS

/ 3 December 2022

THE ISABELA State University-Echague campus has provided bikes to help students get around faster and with ease.

The procurement of 100 bikes was made possible through the budget insertion introduced by Senator Pia Cayetano to ISU’s appropriations.

The university set up bike stations where students can get a ride whenever they need it.

To track and maximize access, the campus will implement a bike utilization system.

The distribution of bikes seeks to help students save transportation costs while exploring the campus’ many attractions.

University President Dr. Ricmar Aquino said that he eyes a “promising expansion of similar initiatives in fostering climate-friendly campuses for the entire ISU community.”
