ISABELA STATE U PARTNERS WITH TAIWANESE UNIVERSITY
THE ISABELA State University forged a partnership with the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology for academic collaboration.
ISU President Ricmar Aquino said the partnership bridges the two universities to pursue a common goal for academic exchange.
This includes research collaboration, joint activities, and other ventures that will help increase the visibility towards internationalization of ISU.
“Both ISU and NPUST should reinforce each other in order to increase our chances of success by collaboration in teaching and research initiatives,” said NPUSE President Dr. Chin-Lung Chang.
Aquino and Change met in Taiwan to sign the Memorandum of Agreement during the weeklong cross-border venture of the university.
ISU officials also promoted the 2nd International Conference on Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction Management, a dialogue of higher educational institutions for holding environmental efforts and climate resiliency during their tour.
