THE ISABELA State University inked a partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources to promote national awareness among students.

The signing was done between DENR and the school for the Environment and Natural Resources Ambassador Project on Friday.

“The project aims to engage students in promoting national awareness on the role of natural resources in economic growth and the importance of environmental conservation and ecological balance towards sustained national development,” the school said on its Facebook page.

The project aims to identify 15 students to become DENR ambassadors to help the school in promoting natural awareness.

It added the school was also tapped to help implement DENR’s ‘Tayo and Kalikasan’.

“The university was tapped as the higher education partner in the implementation of the project under DENR’s Tayo Ang Kalikasan,” it added.
