ILOILO SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY U STUDENT TOPS ELECTRONIC ENGINEER LICENSURE EXAM
A STUDENT from the Iloilo Science and Technology University topped the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination given this month with a rating of 88.60%.
Joshua Aniken Garcia Acusta led the 983 successful examinees. The Professional Regulation Commission said that 2,935 took the exams.
Grant Lewis Milan Bulalong of the De La Salle University, Rommel Gonzales Gadia of Tarlac State University and Gabriel James Manalo Tecson tied at second place with a score of 88.50%.
The PRC said the best performing school was the University of the Philippines Diliman, with 35 of its 40 takers passing for a success rate of 87.50%.
The commission also announced the results of the April 2023 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.
Jayron Tayurang Mampusti of PUP got the highest score of 90%.
He was followed by Neil Christian Cabador Diche of the Northwest Samar State University-Calbayog and Rynmart Dumaya Perez of the University of Batangas with rating of 89%.
The PRC said 1,641 passed the exams.
The top performing schools with 50 or more examinees with at least 80% passing percentage are the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas (92.21); PUP (89.08); and Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (84.21).
