IFUGAO STATE U INKS PACT WITH JAPAN UNIV FOR ACAD COLLABORATION

THE IFUGAO State University signed an agreement with the Niigata University in Japan for academic collaboration and research exchange.

A virtual signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was conducted on Tuesday. The project will start this year.

IFSU was represented by its president, Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon, while NU was represented by President Dr. Tatsue Ushiki.

The partnership will include the mutual introduction of the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System in Sado, Japan, and Ifugao.

The two institutions will conduct joint research seminars and jointly implement educational programs.

“As a University that envisions excellence amidst rich cultural heritage, IFSU remains true to its commitment to strong research leadership and culture to intensify the conservation of the rich cultural heritage,” Dugyon said.
