IFSU SECURITY PERSONNEL TRAINED ON USE OF GENDER-FAIR LANGUAGE
THE IFUGAO State University trained its security personnel on how to deal with clients in a gender-fair tone on Wednesday.
IFSU said that 22 security personnel were taught how to deal with sensitive matters relating to gender.
“The latter will help you in communicating with our clients without any hint of gender bias,” IFSU Department of Human Resources and Development Director Fedelym Pugong said.
“It will help you to be more sensitive to their needs and convey words in a manner that is acceptable to them regardless of gender orientation,” she added.
The security personnel were also taught basic life support for emergency situations.
This includes basic first aid care in different situations.
