iACADEMY STUDENT GETS SCHOLARSHIP GRANT FROM DUKE UNIVERSITY
A STUDENT from iACADEMY won a full scholarship from Duke University in the United States.
Arla Jan Patrick Ragun will pursue a major in Computer Science focused on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
“I am so grateful to have been supported by the OSAS team all throughout the application journey, especially having little to no background in applying to schools in the US,” Ragun said.
Ragun promised “to bring my game changing roots I have acquired during my stay at iACADEMY Nexus.”
iACADEMY congratulated him for his accomplishment.
“We are incredibly #iACADEMYproud and we look forward to seeing all that he accomplishes at Duke,” the school said on Facebook.
Founded in 1838, Duke University in North Carolina has produced Nobel Peace Prize winners and counts among its famous alumna former US President Richard Nixon, former Microsoft GM Melinda Gates and Apple CEO Timothy Cook.
