iACADEMY was awarded as Most Innovative Design School and Best New School for Music Production and Technology in 2022 by International Business Magazine alongside leading organizations around the globe.
The school has produced graduates who made exceptional contributions to the industry. Among them is Mikee Sevilla, one of the first graduates of AB Animation, who has worked at Walt Disney Animation Studios and participated in the making of animated films Encanto (2020) and Raya and the Last Dragon (2020).
iACADEMY has maintained being a Toon Boom Center of Excellence since 2019, making the school the first educational institution in Southeast Asia and in the Philippines to be awarded the distinction.

Another student changing the game is Emanuel Riñoza, a third-year college student taking up AB Fashion Design and Technology who has been among the emerging designers in the country with works featured in MEGA Magazine and Teen Vogue. Even as an undergraduate, Emanuel paved his fashion career by designing outfits for celebrities and beauty queens including Kisses Delavin, Miss International 2018 1st Runner-Up Ahtisa Manalo, Bb. Pilipinas-International Patch Magtanong, and Miss hUniverse Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo.
Since its establishment in 2002, iACADEMY pivoted traditional education and championed a new paradigm that bridged the mismatch between the graduates and the actual needs of the industry. Among its cutting-edge programs is BA Music Production and Sound Design in partnership with global sound leaders Dolby and Avid. It is designed to nurture the creative talents of students and familiarize them with the latest digital technology needed to become successful professionals in their area of specialization.
Leading the Music Production and Sound Design program is iACADEMY music professor Gerard Paul Elviña who is recognized as the first Filipino and second Asian to join the Audio Engineering Society Standards Committee, the prestigious organization responsible for conducting the AES Standards Program. AES develops and publishes a number of technical standards, information documents and technical reports within the field of professional audio technology.
