IACADEMY HELPS DISPLACED SHS STUDENTS

/ 14 January 2024

iACADEMY has reached out to several state and local universities to offer help and accept those who might be displaced by the sudden change in the government’s K to 12 program.

This was the school’s response to the recent announcement made by the Commission on Higher Education stating that SUCs and LUCs can no longer admit Senior High School (Grades 11 and 12) students.

Recognizing the challenges faced by displaced Senior High School students, iACADEMY is opening its doors to provide a welcoming environment for those seeking to continue their education.

Under the visionary leadership of iACADEMY’s President, Dr. Vanessa Tanco, iACADEMY will also be offering tuition discounts to the students affected by this change.

“Education should be a right accessible to all, and at iACADEMY, we are committed to ensuring that deserving students do not face barriers to their academic pursuits. We understand the concerns brought about by the recent CHED announcement, and we are ready to support those impacted by offering a tuition fee discount,” said Dr. Tanco.

The iACADEMY Admissions team is actively contacting Universities and Colleges to collaborate on this unique proposition. By fostering partnerships with neighboring institutions, iACADEMY aims to create a network that prioritizes the educational needs of displaced Senior High School students, promoting a unified effort to overcome the challenges posed by the recent policy change.

“Education is a collective responsibility, and by working together with other academic institutions, we can create a stronger foundation for the future of our students. We invite our colleagues to join hands with us in supporting these students during this transitional period,” added Dr. Tanco.

Interested students are encouraged to contact the iACADEMY admissions team for more information on the admission process.
