HOLY ANGEL UNIVERSITY TO DISTRIBUTE LICENSED SOFTWARE FOR LAB CLASSES
THE HOLY Angel University-School of Engineering and Architecture in Pampanga will start the installation of licensed software for laboratory subjects for Academic Year 2020-2021.
SEA Dean Dr. Filipina De Guzman said that the access codes for software will be given to students individually by the faculty member handling the course.
The installation will be scheduled by the faculty to limit the number of people entering the campus in accordance with the university health protocols implemented by the Campus Services and Development Office.
Students or their qualified representatives are required to bring laptops or desktop CPUs, and must provide proof of enrollment such as enrollment receipt, registration form, student ID, or picture of student schedule to receive the licensed software.
De Guzman said that students who were not able to install Autocad or Solidworks for lack of personal device, failure to meet minimum system requirements of the software, or who could not visit the school “will be given a pending grade until all requirements were submitted and following all academic policies about grades.”
She added that all departments will administer open laboratories for students as soon as face-to-face classes are allowed.
The available licensed software and virtual laboratories provided by the university are Amatrol, Solidworks, Autocad, Logic.ly, Matlab, and Labster.
