HOLY ANGEL U ENGINEERING STUDENTS EMERGE CHAMPIONS IN PIIE NAT’L CONGRESS

INDUSTRIAL Engineering students from the Holy Angel University in Pampanga were hailed national champions in the recent Feasibility Study Category of the 1st Online Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers National Student Congress.

Elad Aquino, Arelle Nulud, Ericka Sanguesa, and Clarisse Santos represented the university in the meet and were mentored by Engr. Precious Angelica Gonzales and Engr. Andrea Louise Teodoro.

With ‘Thrive: Magnifying Excellence to Influence Industrial Innovation,’ as its theme, the competition aims to focus on individuals that thrived and made an impact amidst adversity, stepping up and letting excellence shine to influence innovation and growth.

Similarly, the school’s IE team won 3rd runner up for Research category and Inter-University Quiz competition.

The Research category team was composed of Rose Elaine Panay, John Rafael Pineda, Mark Quiambao and Marianita Zorilla.

For the Inter-University Quiz, Kursten Arsenia, Kian Balatbat, and Samuel Malig represented the university.

Engr. Nicole Irish Sarmiento coached the students in the research study.

Others who supported the students include Industrial Engineering Program Chairperson Engr. Edward Lacson, Engr. Rjay Quiambao, Engr. Melani Cabrera, and Engr. CK Garganta.
