/ 26 October 2022

THE ATENEO de Manila advised the public to brace for heavy traffic in the Katipunan area on October 29-30, 2022 when the school will hold its College Entrance Test.

“The ACET will be on Saturday and Sunday, 29-30 October 2022, at the Ateneo de Manila University’s Loyola Heights campus in Quezon City,” it said.

“Heavy traffic is expected in the area, particularly along Katipunan Avenue and surrounding streets. Please plan your trips accordingly,” it added.

The university said more than 3,000 students are expected to take the exam on Saturday and almost 4,000 learners on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

In August, the university announced that it will again conduct the ACET which was suspended for two years because of the Covid19 pandemic.

Aside from their performance in the ACET, applicants will be assessed based on their academic and non-academic performance from Grades 9 to 11; batch ranking at the end of Grade 11; personal admission essays; recommendation letters; extracurricular and disciplinary records.
