GSC INKS PACT WITH CZECH REPUBLIC U
THE GUIMARAS State College signed a pact on academic cooperation with Czech Republic school Mendel University.
Representatives from both schools signed the Memorandum of Understanding at the GSC Campus.
The GSC said that the agreement aims to promote sustainable and productive academic collaboration and exchange of researchers and constituents to integrate their learning programs.

“Both institutions seek to develop and maintain strategic and global partnerships which will enable their faculty, staff and students to broaden their horizons and enhance their experiences through mobility, pursuing study overseas and through interaction with international institutions,” GSC said.
“This is to prove that the cooperation of academic activities of the two institutions will strengthen mutual understanding, foster friendly cooperation, upgrade the institution’s standards and hopefully achieve a global standard of educational research,” it added.
Fourteen representatives of the Czech school visited the college to discuss the partnership. The visitors presented their research topics in tourism, engineering, forestry, social sciences, food safety, security.
