GALAS NAMED PANGASINAN STATE U PRESIDENT

DR. ELBERT Galas officially assumed his post as president of the Pangasinan State University.
Galas took over the post from Dr. Dexter Buted during the leadership transition ceremony on Friday.
Galas was named the 7th president after gaining the majority vote from the PSU Board of Regents.
Buted announced the search for the next president in October.
Buted served as the 6th president of PSU for two terms or a total of eight years.
Messages of thanks and tributes from PSUans also poured for Buted as he made his exit as chief of PSU.
